How To Root Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 and install CWM in it

Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is a successor of Samsung Galaxy Ace and Samsung Galaxy Ace 2.
The device was released in June 2013, but is still very popular and my mate recently bought this device. I tried playing with it and I found that the performance in nice, sound is nice and other things.

It is a 4.0 inch mobile phone wtih 480 x 800 pixels and 233 PPI Pixels density. Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 has a 4 GB Internal memory along with 1 GB RAM which is quite nice for a device which was launched in mid-2013 at this price. Ace 3 doesn't have a MediaTek chipset, but a Broadcom BCM21664 (3G Model) / Qualcomm MSM8930 Snapdragon 400 (LTE Model). It has a Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 (3G Model) CPU / Dual-core 1.2 GHz Krait (LTE Model). My friend has LTE model and it is very quick. I haven't used a 3G model, so don't know about the speed of it. The GPU of this device is fine, but the GPU of LTE model is better than the 3G model. It has Broadcom VideoCore IV (3G Model) / Adreno 305 (LTE Model) GPU.
I think 3G model users want to root their device to increase the speed of their handset and LTE model users for just fun, I mean ROMs, Kernels etc. There might be your reasons, I am just guessing it.
We will be rooting this handset by using Odin (to flash the ClockWorkMod Recovery) and ClockWorkMod Recovery (to flash the rooting toolkit). I hope you know these terms (CWM and Odin), if you don't know then don't worry. I will be explaining the tutorial very well and I hope you will have no problem while rooting your Samsung Galaxy Ace 3.
The tutorial is for both Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 LTE GT-s7275 and Samsung Galaxy Ace 3G GT-S7270. Other Ace 3 users don't worry. This guide will work on almost every SG Ace Models (GT-S7270, GT-S7270L, GT-S7272, GT-S7273T, GT-S7275, GT-S7275R), other users may not follow this article because it won't root your device.

Prerequisites for rooting Samsung Galaxy Ace 3

  • Only these models are supported: GT-S7270, GT-S7270L, GT-S7272, GT-S7273T, GT-S7275, GT-S7275R. If you will try it on any other Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 variant, then it won't work.
  • Don't try it on any other device except Samsung Galaxy Ace 3.
  • No support will be provided to the users who tried any other thing which is not specified here.
  • Use Odin with very care. It can even lead to bricked Samsung Galaxy Ace 3.
  • Only download things that are mentioned here. Other guides may have different ways.
  • Enable USB Debugging in Samsung Galaxy Ace 3. [Go to Settings, open About phone (which is the last option in the Settings. Tap 7 times on Build Number to enable Developer options. Open the Developer options from the main menu of Settings app and enable it. Also scroll down a bit and enable USB Debugging from here.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a phablet with a big 5.7 inch of capacitive touch screen which supports capacitive touch. It has a Super AMOLED capactive touch screen protected with Corning Gorilla 3 glass. The device gives full HD display of 1080 x 1920 pixels. You can use S pen stylus with this device so you can actually draw a sketch on this device. The device has 13 Mega Pixels rear-camera which allows you to capture some crisp photos and record HD videos at 1080p HD with 4128 x 3096 pixels.
You get great video output of 2160p with 30 FPS and 1080p with 60 FPS. There's also a secondary camera of 2 Mega Pixels, and that can also record HD videos at 30 FPS.
The phablet runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean but can be upgraded to Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat latest Android OS by official Samsung OTA. The model we are offering is N9000 which has an Octa-Core processor. "Chorus", Samsung Group Play Alternate app for Every device!

Don't you have Samsung Galaxy S4 but want its Group Play feature in your device? If yes then you are at right place.

Samsung Group Play is one of the best feature of Samsung Galaxy S4, the feature used to play one song on different mobiles on same timings. I was just visiting XDA Developers and I saw a new application release named Chorus. The app fulfilled my dream of Group Play feature in my device. Okay, if you haven't heard or used Sasmung Galaxy S4 then let me tell you about its Group Play feature. The Group Play feature was introduced in Samsung Galaxy S4 with its release which allows users to play a single song on other devices (Samsung devices only) by wireless network. This application is just a copy of that application, not a copy but does the same work, but better work. There are no restrictions on the device vendor, also it doesn't require any special feature or hardware requirements but just a WiFi modem which will allow you to sync your music with other devices.
With this application you can turn out your Android devices to a loud speaker because it can be played in many devices simultaneously. I tried this application on my friends and my devices like Samsung Galaxy S3, HTC One Mini and Micromax A117 Canvas Magnus and it was really like a loudspeaker. I was totally impressed with the application and so tough to write an article for this application on my blog.
The application is developed by XDA member rahuliyer95 and he has got many thanks and comments for his fantastic application.
Chorus supports each and every device which uses Android 2.3 Ginger Bread or above. It also uses the same feature as Samsung Group play does, by creating WiFi hotspot to share Play List with the other device.
The host device creates a hotspot, to which other devices using this application can connect to and play the same song on his/her device. Because of WiFi (faster than other networks) the song won't lag and will run flawlessly on even slow routers too.
You can create unlimited play lists and share it with your friends or any other person. He/she just needs a simple 'password' or a 'key' which you will see when you will make your play list so they can connect you.
Some features of "Chorus" are:

  • No Ads or Adfree: the application doesn't show any kind of ads like AdSense or any other ads so you don't need to use applications like AdBlock or other ad blocking applications.
  • The list can be edited any time: You can edit your play list any time and can re-sync it afterwards.
  • Manual Sync option is available: Don't want automatic syncing? Then great because you can also use Manual Sync option in this application.
  • Edge cutting UI: The application has a HOLO themed UI and there are nice animations with it too.
  • Connect millions of devices: If you want to connect your 3, 4 or even 20 devices, then you can connect them easily by using this application and don't need to worry about the number of devices.
  • Supports Android 2.3 Ginger Bread or above: There are many people who still uses Android 2.3 GingeBread or Ice Cream Sandwich in their devices so the application is available for them too as well as for JB/KK too.
Screenshot of this application:

There are many features which you may explore after installing and using this application only!

What are you waiting for? Download the application straight-away on your Android device!

Top 3 Android Battery Saving Applications

Are you tiered of your android device because it eats a lots of RAM? If you are looking for such questions like How to increase my battery backup etc. then you are absolutely at right place! We all use mobile phones too much these days, like for internet, for listening to music etc. and battery comes from 60% to 15% in just a span of time, and that's very much frustrating. Some costly devices like Samsung Galaxy S4, Motorola HTC One MiniNexus 5 has better battery backup which we require but some people have low budget and they cannot afford these devices so the guide is for them! mAh doesn't mean more backup. Battery can be saved with smart optimizations, low sound, less brightness etc. but who has got time to them? Even I don't have much time to them so I use some battery saving application which does it automatically for me and trust me, it works. But which application to use? There will be tons of applications when you will search battery saver applications for android, so to help you I am making list of top 3 application which are best in saving battery of an android device. Also a good thing is that you don't need to root your mobile phone. They can increase your battery backup by 20-30%! Here are top 3 best battery saving applications for android device:

[Top 3 Android battery saving applications]

3rd Easy Battery Saver

This battery saving application has different modes like General Saving Mode, Intelligent Saving Mode, Super Power Saving Mode, Advanced Customized Mode, Normal Mode. The application has decent reviews but personally when I tried this application, I didn't find any improvements in my battery backup but it is better than Juice saver etc. But the good part of the application is that you can run it on your Froyo, GingerBread and other old Android versions too.

Requirements: Android 2.0 Eclair or above

Application size: 1.8 MegaBytes
Installs: 10,000,000 - 50,000,000
Last update: 17 December 2013
Current version: 3.3.4
Ratings on Google Play Store: 4.6

Get it on Google Play

2nd Battery Widget Reborn

This battery saver application is better and confortable application and I didn't find any flaw in it. It is like a widget and you can adjust brightness, turn ON and OFF some android features. The widget is resizable on android 4.0 ice cream sandwich and above. Also it has good reviews on Play Store. It doesn't have any modes like Easy Battery Saver. This application doesn't have a boring UI but attractive UI. I like the application just because of it's UI, widget and savings.

Requirements: Android 2.3 GingerBread or above

Application size: 6.0 MegaBytes
Installs: 1,000,000 - 5,000,000
Last update: 30 January 2014
Current version: 1.9.11 (Beta)
Ratings on Google Play Store: 4.7

Get it on Google Play

1st DU Battery saver & Widget

This is the best battery saving application I have found in Google Play Store, the free version is good but this is article for free application so I am gonna tell you about its free version only. The application gives you details about the battery temperature, has modes like Easy Battery Saver but it quite better than that. Also it doesn't slow your mobile phone. If you are rooted then you can get special features like CPU frequency which slows down your device (underclocks it) so your device can save battery while it is locked. Some modes are General Mode, Long Standby, Sleep Mode, Custom Mode etc.

Requirements: Android 2.1 Eclair or above

Application size: 4.7 MegaBytes
Installs: 1,000,000 - 5,000,000
Last update: 15 January 2014
Current version: 3.5.0
Ratings on Google Play Store: 4.5

So these were top 3 battery saving applications for android device. I hope you liked this article. Comment below and give reviews about these applications in your comments.

Samsung Galaxy S4 gets leaked KitKat firmware | How To Install it on your S4

Samsung Galaxy S4's KitKat firmware or ROM has been leaked by SamMobiles and today we will be telling you or guiding you how to install that firmware on your device. We will be telling you about the features and other tweaks that are made in this ROM. This ROM is just for testing and anyone can test it in his/her Samsung Galaxy S4. With the courtesy of SamMobile, you have official KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy S4.
A test was performed with Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware on international version of Sasmung Galaxy S4 : GT-I9505 with Octa-Core Snapdragon 600 chipset.
The firmware is an open release for European Samsung Galaxy S4 users and is said that the ROM is highly functionable and quite stable with just few minor bugs.
SamMobile says "so far it’s been pretty stable, except a few minor hiccups here and there" but this is okay because it isn't a final release or a customer release, just a firmware for testing whether it's working correctly or not.
Finally Samsung has moved from Green icons to white icons, which are basically stock icons of Google Android 4.4.2 KK OS, so there's nothing 'customized' thing in the statusbar icons. There are some tweaks to the user interface. Also there is a transparent Notificatio bar, which looks cool but nothing done by Samsung here, just tweaked by Google in KitKat update. But, sadly, the interior of notification bar remains same as of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy S4, I don't know why Samsung makes their user feels 'not upgraded' because the UI is same! When Google's Nexuses receives updates, they always looks fresh and updated after updating the system by OTA.
Another thing that we noticed was the camera icon. The camera icon is now in the lower right side of the Lockcreen which looks like Facebook messenger's popup messages. It allows users to access the camera application as soon as possible when they need it.
According to Sam Mobiles, the performance has been significantly improved of Samsung Galaxy S4 with this Android 4.4 Kit Kat build. Also Sam Mobiles reported that the UI is pretty stable with no lags on changing the device orientations. Further, they also said that the Benchmarks of this device seems to be bump up and are better than Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

So you can install the ROM too, here you go:

Note: MXRootRom is not responsible for your bricked Samsung Galaxy S4, if you are an experienced user, then try it at your own risk, other users may also try but on their own risk. If you are feeling insecure, then wait for official release of KK for Samsung Galaxy S4!

How To Install/Flash Android 4.4 KitKat firmware by Samsung by Kies:

  • Download the Firmware given in the link.
  • Extract the firmware with any file extractor like WinRar or WinZip.
  • Download and extract the Odin v3.09 too.
  • Shut down the device and keep it untouched for some time.
  • Now, press and hold Home + Power + Volume down buttons simultaneously to boot into Download Mode.
  • Open the Odin on your PC and connect your PC while pressing those buttons. When you will see blue sign on Odin (the sign means that the device is successfully connected and the drivers are also installed) it means you are ready for the next step.
  • In the AP section, add I9505XXUFNA1_I9505OXAFNA1_I9505XXUFNA1_HOME.tar.md5 file from the folder in which you extracted some files just now.
  • Before moving to the next step, make sure RE-Formatting is not ticked in Odin.
  • Click on the big Start button and have some coffee.
  • Soon it will boot into Android 4.4 KitKat!
  • If you have encourted some errors like Bootloop (Stuck in the Android booting) or any error while flashing then reboot to recovery and choose wipe/factory reset option to reset your internal SD Card and Android software.
  • Reboot!

Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini vs Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos

So Micromax is releasing their compact device i.e., Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini. Let's have a war between Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos v/s Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini. Both the devices are almost same so I decided to make a review of both the devices and present it to you. Are you confused to chose between Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos or Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo? If yeah, then read this article.

Display

Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini has a 4.7 inch of capacitive touchscreen with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels protected by Gorilla Glass 2

Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos is a 5 inch device with a poor resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and pixels density of 187ppi which is really very poor. Devices like XOLO A500S has a much better display than this. Also the graphics of this device are not and the display is also not good but okay for daily users.

Micromax A200 has a better resoution, better protection, HD resolution. But the screen size of Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos is better than Micromax A200 (just 0.3 inch more than Canvas Turbo Mini).

But because of more better things in Micromax A200,

Winner: Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini is the winner!

Form

Micromax A200 is 7.9mm thick with a touch screen of 4.7 inches.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos is 9.6mm thick which is slightly more than Micromax A200.

Winner: Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini is the winner!

Processor

This is my favorite part of all the articles!

Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini has a MediaTek MT6582 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor whereas Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos has just 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processor. Both the devices are having same amount of RAM i.e., 1 GB. Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos lags much on the stock ROM because of it's slow processor whereas Micromax A200 will not lag like Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos, so here also Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini wins!

Winner: Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini is the winner!
dis
Storage

According to MMXNewsCaster, Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini would have 4 GB of internal storage which could be further expandable up to 32 GB by Micro SD Card.(I am sure it will be 4 GB because of it's processor which is a SoC) whereas Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos has 8 GB Internal Memory which can be further expandable up to 64 GB by a Micro SD Card. So Samsung takes up this round!

Winner: Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos is the winner!

Operating System

Both the smartphones run on the same OS that is Android but are having different versions of it. Micromax A200 comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating System whereas Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System. But Micromax's Android OS are stock vanilla whereas Samsung always stuffs feature in their OS to make it better and look more sweet! I would like to go for Samsung but because Micromax has later version of Android, MMX wins!

Winner: Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini is the winner!

Camera

Both the devices are having same camera I mean the Mega Pixels are same. Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo and Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos, both of them has an 8 Mega Pixels camera but Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo has an 5 Mega Pixels front facing camera whereas Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos has an 2 Mega Pixels front facing camera, so simply Canvas Turbo Mini wins again!

Winner: Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini is the winner!

Conclusion

If we round up all the things then Micromax A200 Canavs Turbo Mini is better because it wins in Shape, Display, Camera, Android and processor whereas Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos could win only in Storage
If you are looking for a small device then Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini is far better than Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos, but if you are looking for brand name then don't go for Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos! Go for any other device because I guarantee you that this device will lag too much!
Also if you are looking for a handy device then go for Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini because it is just 4.5 inch big and quite sleeker than Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos.

How To Unbrick (Soft brick or Hard Brick) Samsung Galaxy S I9000 (rooted+non rooted)

Bricked your Samsung Galaxy S I9000? No problem. Here's a simple guide which might help you to reset (hard or soft) your Galaxy S. There are many problems users faces like using some anroid applications that modifies are system and bricking their devices. Many people has complainted that their devices do not boots sometimes and they have to flash full ROM to fix the bootloop, but using this guide, you can recover your Samsung Galaxy S I9000 from bootloops easily. Most of the time, there's a problem of data partition that causes the problem and also this guide is not tough. Just some selections and you are done!

Sometimes your device might have failed to boot because of some problems like force close on application, any error you face while using your device or if your device is lagging or giving poor performance. Not only these problems, there might be many problems which I don't even know and you are facing them. NO! you don't need to be rooted! Non rooted users can also follow this guide and unbrick their devices. This will work on 3e (stock), CWM Recovery or any custom recovery.
Also if you want to make your device like when it booted for first time then also this guide will help you to do that! This will clean your applications, data, Gmail data, contacts (saved on your phone memory), SMSes (saved on your phone memory) and every single APK with their data , but this will be only for custom installed APKs, applications like settings, contacts, phone and  other stock APKs won't be removed, but only their data will be removed for example you set "display contacts of SIM card" and after performing this guide, you have to enable them all again!
Okay let's see in what cases this guide will help you to recover your bricked device:

  • If you installed an application that modified data partition.
  • If your applications are showing too many force closes (or force close).
  • If you get strange errors in your ROM.
  • If you want to make your phone refresh- make it like when you booted for first time.
  • If you messed something like settings or anything and want to reset them.
  • If your Samsung Galaxy S I9000 is lagging to much and want to fix the lag.
  • If you want to factory reset your Samsung Galaxy S I9000.
Note: If you are rooted then most of the chances are that you modified or used any application that modifies the system partition! If you know you did something like then just flash the same ROM again (it won't wipe the data and will work like you used it before it looped!)  or did you try Xposed? If yes then Xposed framework always makes a backup in SD Card so just flash it and your mobile phone will boot normally.
Also note one thing that your every file will be removed (file means SMSes, phone logs, internet history and everything!) and your files saved in your internal or external SD Cards won't be effected!

Now I think you have read the note and you are ready to follow the guide. I will not be responsible for anything that happens to your mobile phone.

How To Fix (hard unbrick) Samsung Galaxy S I9000 easily:

  • Shut down the phone or simply remove the battery and make sure it is completely shut down and not in bootloader or at any partition (I mean bootloader or recovery).
  • Press and hold the volume up + home + power buttons simultaneously for sometime till the bootloader (Samsung logo) appears.
  • Soon there will be a simple flash on your screen (not like bright or with colorful colors), which will boot your device to recovery.
  • [Use volume buttons (volume up for moving abovevolume down for moving below and power button to select the options)]
  • Use volume down button to move down and select wipe data/factory reset option from your 3e (stock) or CWM recovery.
  • On this screen, you will be asked to wipe your data or perform a full wipe.
  • Now make sure that you are ready to root your mobile phone and select YES – delete all user data to perform full factory reset or wipe your data.
  • Within some fractions of minutes, your Samsung Galaxy S I9000 will hard reset and factory reset.
  • When you are complete with wiping, press reboot system now to reboot your Samsung Galaxy S I9000 in a normal way.
  • Wait for some times till your mobile phone rebooted.
This boot will take much more time than the normal boot because the system is generating new files that are required for it to perform tasks like data, caches, log files etc. JUST DON'T CLICK ANYWHERE AND WAIT FOR SOMETIMES. If you will reboot your device then also nothing will happen wrong, but it will take the same amount of time so better be quick!
Fixed your device? Oh, I am happy for you. Please say tuned for more stuffs like this!

How To Increase Sound of Android Mobile [GB+]

Do you hate your Nexus 5 or any other device because it has low sound? I know how it feels, I had Micromax A60 and it had a speaker that cannot be heard until you place your ear or it! Anyway, it's of no use because I don't use that device. I don't have any android device but when I had my device I tried the Viper4Android Audio Effects mod and that was not fake like many mods available on XDA, that really worked and I was shocked, I thought there is no mod which can increase your sound volume but this MOD really worked. Zhuhang@XDA posted the mod on XDA and he said that he is not the actually but, still thanks to him for his work (even if it is of posting!). Also, the MOD is open-source so you can easily make changes based on your device.

The MOD has been downloaded more than thousands of times and none of the user failed in installing the MOD. The MOD is working on most of the devices, only rare devices cannot utilize it. With this MOD, your treble will be too much high at the maximum volume which is cool but there are some chances of bricking your speaker. This is great for people who use their device for listening to songs with speaker. Also with Acid Sound Mod, this becomes superb! Acid Sound MOD+Viper Sound Mod= DJ! but Viper is way better than Acid Sound Mod.
If you are not sure that the MOD increases the volume then install it and turn off and on between your music, you will surely find the difference in this. The MOD works on GingerBread devices as well! Our excluded OS has compatibility to run Viper4Android MOD, also our latest OS i.e, Kit Kat, this is also supported but only on some devices, people reported that in Kit Kat it is not compatible, means most of the devices got it working but some got failed to boot with it.
You are at MXRootRom, so I think you might know that without rooting my most of the guides are reviews and all but you require root in this process. You don't need any CWM or TWRP to flash the MOD but you need root because it changes and adds some files in /etc and /lib folders when it turns on.
XDA is a great place actually, you can find all MODs and useful things for your Android device there only. Let's no more talk about MXRootRom and XDA and move to our main part of the article.

How To Enable Virtual Navigation control in any Android device [ICS+]

Did you see Nexus devices? They (most of them) have a Navigation bar (soft keys) in the screen itself and the mobile looks nice, premium and neat with it. But not only Nexuses, LGs and other high-ends devices can have this feature but an Android mobile phone which is rooted and running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or above can easily enable Onscreen navigation bar or soft keys. This is a simple task and one does not need any special thing, just a explorer or anything which can pull, push or edit the build.prop which is in /system/ folder. You don't need to be techish, and even a normal-noob person can follow this guide and enable onscreen buttons easily. I like the onscreen button and was jealous that why only Nexuses and other high-end devices have them, why not Indian and other Chinese devices have them? I did a research for some minutes and found how to enable them. After enabling them I was happy and thought of making a guide on my blog, and here I made it. Actually there's just a simple trick behind this and that is, Indian and other Chinese vendors always remove that line from build.prop because of the screen size and don't even disable the line with xxx='false' but they remove the whole line, I don't know why they do so, but that's bad of them.

Requirements

  • A brain
  • Some basic knowledge of editing files
  • Build.prop (every android has it!)
  • Rooted Android device.
  • Android with Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) or above.

How To Enable On Screen Buttons or Soft Navigation Bar on any ICS+ Android mobile phone

By Root Explorer or any other file explorer:
  • Open terminal emulator.
  • Type reboot recovery.
  •  Make a Nandroid backup!
  • Reboot your device.
  • Open your explorer [say Root explorer]
  • Go to /system folder and scroll a bit, you will find build.prop. [Long press on build.prop file and your explorer should ask you how do you interact with this file, if you see text editor, then chose it else use any other explorer or use next guide.
  • Open it in text editor and scroll to last.
  • When you will be at the end, press enter [for next line] and you will be in the last line.
  • Add
    ###Navbar_by_mxrootrom###
  • so that you can easily remove the navbar if you don't remember which line enabled it.
  • Now again press enter for next line and type
    qemu.hw.mainkeys=0.
  • Save the file.
  • Reboot your android device so you can see the effects of it in the next boot.
  • Woh, done!
By ADB (Android Debugging Bridge)

Make sure your ADB works (I mean drivers are installed properly!)

  • Download the compressed ADB from the link in the download sections.
  • Extract it to your any folder, say C:/users/YOUR_USER_NAME/Desktop/ADB_tools
  • Just open the folder where you extracted the downloaded file.
  • Press and hold Shift Key and hit Right click.
  • You will see Open command prompt here option, click on it.
  • Type adb pull /system/build.prop.
  • In that folder, you will see a new file: build.prop.
  • Edit the file and at the end, press enter so you are in a blank line.
  • Type
    ###Navbar_by_mxrootrom### and hit enter.
  • Now, type
    qemu.hw.mainkeys=0.

(You don't need to add those LF in black box because it means that there is another line after that, I use it for development purpose)
  • In command prompt, type
    adb push build.prop /system/
  • Reboot your android phone!
Now you have a device with Navigation bar, cool na? Show of it with your friends and tell them that you have a premium device. Stay tuned for more simple and cool guides like this.
I tried to be much much clear so you can follow the guide easily but if you still find problem in anything then you can ask me here.

How To Root Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562

Got Samsung Galaxy S Duos and get rid of those crappy lags? You're at right place! but, for making it faster, you first need to root your Samsung Galaxy S Duos and then apply some tweaks or some cool ROMs. The device is having great, good okay okay type specifications but if I had this 10 thousands, I would have surely bought any other device.
I tried Samsung Galaxy S Duos of my friend and found that the RAM was good but the processor was WORST like anything! It was just 1 GHz Dual Core. You can't even expect good gaming on this device, but the RAM is good! Anyway, I won't like to disappoint the customers and the people here who want to root their device.
Here's the list of some applications and mods which can be run without root! which requires rooted Android device and which might improve your gaming performance or overall performance:

  • ChainFire 3D (for gaming)
  • Seeder (for performance and gaming, both)
  • Game booster (as the name suggests, for gaming)
  • Greenify (for multitasking and performance)
  • Geeky Engine (for overall performance)
  • Adrenaline Engine (for overall performance), etc.
What can you do after rooting your S Duos
  • Remove Bloatwares
  • Overclock (depends on if you've custom kernel or not)
  • MODs which can improve battery backup
  • More customization
  • Can install Custom ROMs
  • Access to some more applications and system root

But you need to root your device in any case to try these applications. And I gotta tell you something! Rooting is not at all very easy process and one can root his/her device in just some seconds.
Let's first see the specifications of Galaxy S Duos.

Samsung Galaxy S Duos is a decent device with some good and some bad specifications. The device is having 4 inch screen (480 x 800 pixels with 233 ppi pixel density). The screen size is not at all impressive, 4 inch is now-a-days not considered a big screen and you can't even enjoy your cool games and videos in Duos. It is having 4 GB Internal memory (and yeah! 4 GB is user available but only 1.82 GB user available). For boosting the games and running heavy applications, the device has got 768 MB RAM, and that's one of the thing which is good in the device. You get 1 GHz Cortex-A5 with Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon chipset. Only because of it is Snapdragon, the perofrmance of the device is not WORST, if it didn't had Snapdragon, then it would be just a waste at this price amount. The device is powered with Adreno 200 GPU which might never help you to run the games without lag. The device is running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich which can be further upgraded up to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean after rooting it! For picturing, you get a 5 Mega Pixels camera which can be also used to record videos at 30 FPS (Frame Per Seconds). Now let's quickly recap the specifications in a list.

Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7652 Specifications

  • 4 inch screen with 480x800p resolution
  • 4 GB Internal Storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB
  • 768 MB RAM
  • 1 GHz Cortex-A5 Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon chipset and Adreno 200 GPU
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
  • 5 MP camera with 30fps recording capability
Prerequisites
  • Don't blame the author or blog- You cannot blame this blog or the author (me, Rohan) for bricking your device! If you stuck at bootloop, not booting or any other problem and will finger out me, then I would actually laugh at you.
  • Support will be provided to the bricked devices- Bricked the device? We know how it feels! Don't worry, I'm here to help you always.
  • You lose warranty after rooting- If you will bring the device to service center for any software upgradation/hardware issue/software issue then you will be dropped out from the service center because you'll be rooted. Always unroot and clear the flashes counter before going to service center after root.
