INAZUMA Kernel - Best Kernel for Moto G 2015

Moto G 2015 is still one of the most popular phones in India under Rs. 13,000 with great build quality and decent specifications. We do have companies like Xiaomi which are releasing new phones with killer specifications, but with poor optimizations and hardware on which Motorola is actually working and has proved their metal again! I have used Moto G (1st) and (3rd) Generation and also Redmi 1S and Note 3, I hope they're good competitors? and found that Moto G always does my work better than Mi phones.
But wouldn't more optimizations make the Moto G 2015 more faster and efficient? I mean I have tried ROMs like CyanogenMod, BrokenOS, Resurrection Remix, etc. but without kernel I don't find the smoothness in these ROMs (yeah Mi users, you too!) and that's why I and most people use a custom kernel with custom ROMs.

Let's kick off with the best features of these kernel:

  1. Fast charging: Get your phone charged faster with this plugin.
  2. Double Tap To Wake: Wake up your phone with tapping two times on the screen!
  3. Overclocked to 1.4 GHz: Your phone now runs on a 1.4 GHz Quad core processor. Still not happy? You can set it to 1.6 GHz from 3rd party apps (Best: Kernel Auditor).
  4. Built with Uber 5.2.1 Toolchain: Improvement in performance and stability of the device.
  5. Various optimizations for performance: There are some other random performance upgrades and optimizations as well!
  6. Better Battery backup: Yup, this is optimized for battery too and you will see a good change in the batter usage!
Well these were just 5 of the best features of this kernel. You can look all of them here, or try your self!

How To Install Inazuma Kernel on Moto G 2015

  1. Download the Inazuma Kernel from here and move it to your internal storage.
  2. Reboot the phone to TWRP Recovery.
  3. Tap on INSTALL button and choose the Kernel zip file.
  4. Wipe cache from the new window (appears when the ROM flash completes).
  5. Reboot to System (TWRP>Reboot>System).
Now this time the phone will boot slowly, but after this boot, further ones will be faster and faster!
Hope you guys liked this kernel. You can comment about this on my blog or on the XDA official thread. Thanks for reading!

[Confirmed][Screenshot] Motorola Moto G will definitely get Android L update.

Hey friends, I had a chat with Motorola just now and I asked them about Android L. Guess what! They said it will be released for Moto G as soon as it goes official. They didn't tell me how much time they will take to release the update or any thing regrading this. They just told me that they'll be releasing Android L update for Moto G.
I saw a post on GSMArena about this and to confirm this once again, I asked them again. The first time they said no because it's not officialy released, but when I asked 'when it will go official', then they answered Yes. I asked that which variants of Moto G will get, but they simply replied 'We don't have any official news about this, sorry'.
If you don't know Android L then let me tell you some of it's best features:

  • Project Hera: The Material design is just amazing. This is just like upgrading from GingerBread to Ice cream Sandwich. Google from Android 4.2.2 to Android 4.4.4 didn't make much changes in the UI, but the Android L will be having many changes which will have beautiful animations, edge-cutting UI etc.
  • Project Volta: Does your phone eats a lot of battery? Now don't worry, because Project Volta will be enabled in Moto G and will surely save much battery even if you are a hardcore gamer.
  • Heads up notifications: The notifications will appear on screen itself! You don't need to pull down the notification bar for this thing only.
  • Camera 2 API: Get crispy photos without letting your phone slow and it also won't consume much RAM!
  • More faster: It is made for devices which have slow processor which makes it flawless in high-end devices like Moto G.
This is my personal chat with Motorola's representative:

The amazing phone by Motorola brings awesome features in such a low budget device! You are getting 1 GB RAM, a Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a good camera and other features, but still you may have faced lags in Motorola Moto E. That is because of the low end CPU which is Snapdragon 200. Actually it is not a low end processor, but because it is a Dual Core CPU, there might be some lags. How To Downgrade Moto G from Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean

Many people are facing errors while downgrading their Moto G to Android 4.3 after upgrading to Android 4.4 Kit Kat. There are many reasons why you want to downgrade your Moto G to Android 4.3.
Many Indian, Brazilians and other users are facing errors like Automatic Airplane mode, No Signal strenght etc.
I don't kow why Google Lenovo released the Kit Kat update for Moto G without fixing all the bugs. There are many bugs which people are reporting like Signal bar, Airplane mode, less battery backup, can't Enable Battery saver option. Hopefully, I didn't face any such errors, I don't know why people are reporting such errors. Maybe you are the one who is facing bugs after upgrading their Moto G to Android 4.4 Kit Kat. I liked the Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat because of it's sleek UI. Some users said that the UI of Android 4.4 Kit Kat was poor, maybe they don't like it. What I hated was there were too many Google applications starting from Google Play Music to Google News which I don't like!
So when I tried manual method to revert back to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean from 4.4 Kit Kat, I saw an error (bootloader) Preflash validation failed when I typed fastboot.exe flash partition gpt.bin. I was thinking it will be fatal, but then i saw a guide on XDA made by t-bon3 which I think was the best guide for Moto G users to revert back to Android 4.3 JB or to Downgrade to Android 4.3 JB.
The guide clearly states what to do, but some users cannot follow the guide, I don't know why so I am making a clear-cut guide for users to downgrade their Moto Gs to Android 4.3 JB!

Attention!

You will need to format your SD Card so please backup it from your computer, because it may contain some usefull data. Also backup your contacts, SMSes, call logs and everything like History, games data etc. by using applications like TitaniumBackup (Pro!) I am not responsible for anything that happens to your device.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO UNLOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER TO DOWNGRAD TO ANDROID 4.3 JELLY BEAN!

Moto G: All About Development (XT1033)

I recently bought Motorola Moto G from FlipKart (16 GB) and rooted it within 5 minutes after it came. I tried many experiements and I know how to unbrick it, downgrade it and do anything about it. I will show you some questions that you want to know and no one is telling.
I have Motorola Moto G XT1033 so all aswers will be for this device only. If you have any other variant of Moto G then also you can see, but it is exclusively for Moto G XT1033.
first I will start questions and answers related to the OTA!

I have unlocked Moto G XT1033 Bootloader, and it has CWM Recovery. Can I flash the OTA now?

No! You can't! You need to have stock recovery to flash OTA because the stock recovery has the partition layout..

I have unlocked Moto G XT1033 Bootloader, and with stock recovery. Can I flash the OTA?

No! I tried it! I unlocked my bootloader and flashed stock recovery. Then I tried updating it with OTA, but I failed! It shows "error" in the stock recovery and is again in the JB version.

I have stock recovery and I locked my bootloader after unlocking it. Can I flash OTA now?

Yes, I tried this only! It works.

I have XT1033, and I heard people saying that the SIM is not working in the Kit Kat ROM, is that true?

NO! It is only for US users and others. I am an Asian I didn't face any bug like Airplane mode, NO network loss, no nothing!

I have Moto G, and I flashed the OTA! I want to downgrade Moto G XT1033 to 4.3. Can I do it?

Yes, you can downgrade Moto G after flashing 4.4 Kit Kat OS (OTA). I have made a script for this. You can also make one for you! Just remove lines with "Primary GPT" erorrs in the flashall.bat/flashall etc. I have made a guide to downgrade Moto G to Android 4.3 and have uploaded all the files too. Learn it from --> here.

I am getting version downgraded for primary-gpt error while downgrading my Moto G

Yes, this is a common error. Just flash the GPT file and flash other files. Then reboot it. It will work. Make sure to wipe the userdata.

I don't want to upgrade my Moto G to Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat but the notification is downloading it! I even tried to Force Close it, but it opens again!

Hmm. Use Titanium Backup PRO application and freeze Moto G OTA application!

Where is OTA being downloaded?

In the /cache partition.

Now let's talk about the Kit Kat update

I have upgraded to Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat update. I want to know where is the option to mount OTG cable?

Go to the Storage option from the main menu of Settings.

In Kit Kat, there are more applications than the Android 4.3 AND ALSO IT LAGS IN KIT KAT!

Yep, I faced some lags on the stock UI of KK. I disabled those applications which uses more RAM.

Why there is no Developer options in Kit Kat? I want to use the ART!

There is a Developer option menu, but disabled. Just tap 7 times on Build Number to get it.

Now let's go the Bootloader

If I unlock my bootloader, will it void my warranty?

Yes, sure. When you unlock the bootloader, you enter a code in the Motorola's website. And when you press the button, there's your warranty gone. Also there is a QFuse in the device which burns itself while unlocking the bootloader and making it un-burn is physically impossible.

I have locked my bootloader and flashed the stock firmware, still my splash screen comes with Remove the 'device unlocked' warning screen. What should I do?

#This will work on both Locked bootloaders and unlocked bootloaders devices!
1. Download the modified logo.bin with no warning screen from here.
2. Reboot your device to bootloader.
3. Open a folder in which there is Fastboot tool.
4. Copy/Paste logo.bin to that folder too.
4. Right click on the folder with Shift Key pressed and select Open command prompt here option.
5. Type fastboot flash logo logo.bin.
6. fastboot reboot.
You have removed that device unlocked warning screen at start up.

Can I lock my device's bootloader again?

Yes you can. I tried it 2-3 times.

Type fastboot oem lock begin
now flash the stock images (system, userdata, logo etc.) and then type
fastboot oem lock
It will lock your Moto G.

Can I get my warranty back after I unlocked Moto G's bootloader?

In Europe, Motorola accepts the devices with unlocked bootloader and fixes the issue until they prove that the issue was caused due to the unlocking of Bootloader. In America, issues are solved even after unlocking the bootloader.

I tried selecting options in the recovery with the power buttons, but it fails to do so. Why?

Because you need to press the volume UP button to select any option! Power button will make it boot normal.

After locking my device's bootloader, can I root it or can I root my device in locked bootoader (Moto g)?

No. None of the tools will work with this device. You need to flash CWM or a Custom Recovery to root it, but for clockworkmod or TWRP, you need to unlock the bootloader!

Now let's talk about the Custom ROMs.,the Stock ROM and Custom Kernels

Can anyone give me fast downloadable means with IDM and resume support stock ROM for Moto G XT1033 Asian Retail? (4.3)

Yes, Download the Stock Moto G XT1033 ROM from Google Drive: Click HERE.

I have Moto G XT1033 (Asian version). Can I flash CyanogenMod 11 ROM and get the network working?

Nah! I tried flashing the ROM, but failed. I even tried flashing Kit Kat modem file through Bootloader.

I have Moto G XT1033 (Asian Version), and can I flash the Paranoid ROM in it and get the network working?

NO. Again, the upper case.

HOW the hell to get network work in the CyanogenMod ROM or Paranoid!!!?

Flash American firmware (with single sim) and then flash the CM11 ROM. Also flash the Modem file. It will work now.

Will CyanogenMod ever add Moto G XT1033 support in CyanogenMod ROM?

Yes. CyanogenMod's team said that they will soon make CM11 ROM for Moto G XT1033.

Is there any ROM which works with Moto G XT1033?

Yes. Custom ROMs made by users should work with this device. Make sure you try only ROMs of Moto G XT1033.

I hope these questions are enough and you are satisfied with them? If no then you can comment below to ask more questions about the Moto G XT1033 (or any other variant of it!)

From where to get Stock ROM of My Moto G? I can't find it anywhere!

You can get the Stock Firmware of Moto G from here: Click HERE and for more firmwares, go HERE.

Is Faux Kernel working on Moto G XT1033? Whatabout features and AnTuTu?

Nope, you can't run Faux in your Moto G XT1033. I don't know why, but in stock ROM it doesn't run. You need to flash a single SIM ROM over this device and then the kernel will work fine. I was getting Phone application Force Close and even the network bars was not showing the stats of signal.

Now lets go to Misc:

Can I install Xposed Framework?

Yes, it works quite good with Moto G. I am running it.

Does Gravity Box runs in KitKat? Any issue?

Yes, it runs in KitKat. Only one issue. And that is when you enable full screen call, it doesn't work until you press "End" button. In short it is of no use (Full Screen Option.)

What about Greenify? It also works with Moto G (Xposed?)

Hmm. Greenify is working without any error and is optimizing my applications!

How To Install CyanogenMod 11 ROM Android 4.4.2 In Motorola Moto G

CyanogenMod is the best custom ROM or firmware for Android currently. There are many other ROMs like CarbonROMMiUiLewa OS etc. which are popular but CyanogenMod ROM is 'mother of these ROMs'! There are many reasons for that like when the new version of Android releases, CyanogenMod releases their next Firmware or ROM version as soon as possible but in less than 1 week after the release. That makes people to download the ROM and not only this, the ROM provides many features that stock roms don't provide like DSP manager, Focal application, Theme support, better and faster notification bar, better and modified call application, fully cusomtizable, all blotwares, light launcher, VPN like application which allows you to surf internet anonymously.

I am now fed of writing the long features of this ROM so you can see some features of this ROM in my older post on Samsung Galaxy S for this ROM.
You can Google too about the features of this ROM and other details of this ROM and about CyanogenMod. Let's first of all see prerequisites and downloads and then finally the main guide of installing the ROM in your device

Prerequisites and Downloads

  • CyanogenMod 11 ROM for Motorola Moto G: click here (choose any version which you like.)
  • Unlocked Motorola Moto G.
  • Rooted Motorola Moto G.
  • ClockWorkMod Recovery (tutorial for this recovery ONLY) or any other recovery like TWRP etc.
  • Charged Motorola Moto G upto 70%.
  • Don't flash the ROM on any other devices like Motorola Moto X just thinking that the name or the specifications of the device are almost same.
  • Don't mix the content of this ROM with any other ROM like SlimROM, Stock ROM or any other ROM because it might not boot.
  • Follow only things which are written here! If you followed anything else, no support will be provided.
  • The ROM works in any bootloader, either on Android 4.3 Bootloader or Android 4.4 Bootloader.
  • MXRootRom is not responsible for bricked Motorola Moto G. You may end up with bricking your Motorola Moto G like device not booting, SD Card not detecting or any other thing that fails to work. For that reason, I have added a special step to make a Nandroid backup but even after making a nandroid backup, I am not responsible for your device. You are trying the guide on your will not mine.
  • Nothing special except some common sense.
How To Upgrade Motorola Moto G to CyanogenMod 11 Kit Kat ROM [Android 4.4.2]
  • Download the ROM from your PC or from any source.
  • Move the ZIP to your SD Card without extracting the ROM or touching it (by touching, I mean by modifying the contents of it.)
  • Reboot yout Motorola Moto G to Recovery. If you don't know how to do that so type these commands in terminal emulator
    su
    reboot recovery
    .
  • When you will be in CWM Recovery open Backup and Restore option from it and select Backup.
  • After the backup completes, select Wipe data/factory reset option.
  • After wiping your data, go to Advanced option in CWM recovery and select Wipe dalvik cache.
  • Now select install zip from sdcard option from the main menu and select the ZIP which you just moved to your SD Card and confirm it by selecting Yes in CWM prompt.
  • [Optional!!] Now flash Google Applications by using selecting install zip from sdcard and selecting the ROM and confirming.
  • Select Wipe data/factory reset option.
  • Reboot!
The ROM will take some more time to reboot because the system is building dalvik cache, data, cache and other files that are required for the booting of the system. The ROM will not take more than 5 minutes to boot, please don't shut down the device in the booting. If the ROM boots properly, then please comment here and give us your reviews, even if the ROM fails to boot, then too comment here and telling what's not working and the steps that you followed.

"Chorus", Samsung Group Play Alternate app for Every device!

Don't you have Samsung Galaxy S4 but want its Group Play feature in your device? If yes then you are at right place.

Samsung Group Play is one of the best feature of Samsung Galaxy S4, the feature used to play one song on different mobiles on same timings. I was just visiting XDA Developers and I saw a new application release named Chorus. The app fulfilled my dream of Group Play feature in my device. Okay, if you haven't heard or used Sasmung Galaxy S4 then let me tell you about its Group Play feature. The Group Play feature was introduced in Samsung Galaxy S4 with its release which allows users to play a single song on other devices (Samsung devices only) by wireless network. This application is just a copy of that application, not a copy but does the same work, but better work. There are no restrictions on the device vendor, also it doesn't require any special feature or hardware requirements but just a WiFi modem which will allow you to sync your music with other devices.
With this application you can turn out your Android devices to a loud speaker because it can be played in many devices simultaneously. I tried this application on my friends and my devices like Samsung Galaxy S3, HTC One Mini and Micromax A117 Canvas Magnus and it was really like a loudspeaker. I was totally impressed with the application and so tough to write an article for this application on my blog.
The application is developed by XDA member rahuliyer95 and he has got many thanks and comments for his fantastic application.
Chorus supports each and every device which uses Android 2.3 Ginger Bread or above. It also uses the same feature as Samsung Group play does, by creating WiFi hotspot to share Play List with the other device.
The host device creates a hotspot, to which other devices using this application can connect to and play the same song on his/her device. Because of WiFi (faster than other networks) the song won't lag and will run flawlessly on even slow routers too.
You can create unlimited play lists and share it with your friends or any other person. He/she just needs a simple 'password' or a 'key' which you will see when you will make your play list so they can connect you.
Some features of "Chorus" are:

  • No Ads or Adfree: the application doesn't show any kind of ads like AdSense or any other ads so you don't need to use applications like AdBlock or other ad blocking applications.
  • The list can be edited any time: You can edit your play list any time and can re-sync it afterwards.
  • Manual Sync option is available: Don't want automatic syncing? Then great because you can also use Manual Sync option in this application.
  • Edge cutting UI: The application has a HOLO themed UI and there are nice animations with it too.
  • Connect millions of devices: If you want to connect your 3, 4 or even 20 devices, then you can connect them easily by using this application and don't need to worry about the number of devices.
  • Supports Android 2.3 Ginger Bread or above: There are many people who still uses Android 2.3 GingeBread or Ice Cream Sandwich in their devices so the application is available for them too as well as for JB/KK too.
Screenshot of this application:

There are many features which you may explore after installing and using this application only!

What are you waiting for? Download the application straight-away on your Android device!

Top 3 Android Battery Saving Applications

Are you tiered of your android device because it eats a lots of RAM? If you are looking for such questions like How to increase my battery backup etc. then you are absolutely at right place! We all use mobile phones too much these days, like for internet, for listening to music etc. and battery comes from 60% to 15% in just a span of time, and that's very much frustrating. Some costly devices like Samsung Galaxy S4, Motorola HTC One MiniNexus 5 has better battery backup which we require but some people have low budget and they cannot afford these devices so the guide is for them! mAh doesn't mean more backup. Battery can be saved with smart optimizations, low sound, less brightness etc. but who has got time to them? Even I don't have much time to them so I use some battery saving application which does it automatically for me and trust me, it works. But which application to use? There will be tons of applications when you will search battery saver applications for android, so to help you I am making list of top 3 application which are best in saving battery of an android device. Also a good thing is that you don't need to root your mobile phone. They can increase your battery backup by 20-30%! Here are top 3 best battery saving applications for android device:

[Top 3 Android battery saving applications]

3rd Easy Battery Saver

This battery saving application has different modes like General Saving Mode, Intelligent Saving Mode, Super Power Saving Mode, Advanced Customized Mode, Normal Mode. The application has decent reviews but personally when I tried this application, I didn't find any improvements in my battery backup but it is better than Juice saver etc. But the good part of the application is that you can run it on your Froyo, GingerBread and other old Android versions too.

Requirements: Android 2.0 Eclair or above

Application size: 1.8 MegaBytes
Installs: 10,000,000 - 50,000,000
Last update: 17 December 2013
Current version: 3.3.4
Ratings on Google Play Store: 4.6

Get it on Google Play

2nd Battery Widget Reborn

This battery saver application is better and confortable application and I didn't find any flaw in it. It is like a widget and you can adjust brightness, turn ON and OFF some android features. The widget is resizable on android 4.0 ice cream sandwich and above. Also it has good reviews on Play Store. It doesn't have any modes like Easy Battery Saver. This application doesn't have a boring UI but attractive UI. I like the application just because of it's UI, widget and savings.

Requirements: Android 2.3 GingerBread or above

Application size: 6.0 MegaBytes
Installs: 1,000,000 - 5,000,000

1st DU Battery saver & Widget

This is the best battery saving application I have found in Google Play Store, the free version is good but this is article for free application so I am gonna tell you about its free version only. The application gives you details about the battery temperature, has modes like Easy Battery Saver but it quite better than that. Also it doesn't slow your mobile phone. If you are rooted then you can get special features like CPU frequency which slows down your device (underclocks it) so your device can save battery while it is locked. Some modes are General Mode, Long Standby, Sleep Mode, Custom Mode etc.

Requirements: Android 2.1 Eclair or above

Application size: 4.7 MegaBytes
Installs: 1,000,000 - 5,000,000

How To Root Motorola Moto X without unlocking bootloader and PC

Earlier we presented a guide on rooting Motorola Moto G and this time, we are preseniting you an easy guide on rooting Motorola Moto X.
Motorola Moto X was stepped in just USA for some months but now it's also available in India! Yes, the mobile released in India too. You can buy Moto X from FlipKart now. But the sad thing is that Google sold Motorola Moto X to Lenovo in just some bucks! Not actually sad thing but we knew that Google would provide updates to Moto X and G every time new update the new update rolls but Lenovo would take time to roll an update for Moto X and G because they also need to manage their handsets like Yoga.

Motorola Moto X is the one of the best mobile phones I have seen till the date at this price range. The device is just for 12 thousands rupees in FlipKart (the price will likely to fall to 10 thousands in coming months) and because of its feature, the market is flooded in India.
Motorola Moto X has 4.7 inches capacitive IPS touch screen with HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and 329 ppi pixels density. The screen size is okay, means not too big and not too small, I personally like 5 inches device because they are more handy than 5.5 or 6 inches devices and there's better video experience in it when compared to 3.5 inch or 4 inch device. Best part of this device is processor! The device is powered by MediaTek Qualcomm SnapDragon 400 chipset which is clocked at 1.2 GHz, not dual core, it is a quad-core device. The RAM of this device satisfies the chipset and the OS requirements, the RAM you get in this device is 2 GB which is too much. There are two models of Motorola Moto X, one with 8 GB and second with 16 GB internal storage. With a 10 Mega Pixels rear camera, you can capture amazing photographs and in night, with the bright LED. The front camera is also good, it is 2 Mega Pixels and can record HD videos. It comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS but can be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat.
Now lets move to rooting tutorial.
Rooting means gaining superuser permissions to perform actions such as editing system and other partitions which cannot be edited until you have rooted your device in an Android mobile phone. Also you don't need to unlock the bootloader so don't be afraid that the OTAs won't come up! Because bootloader is locked, the device will receive OTA updates. NO! you don't need any kind of USB drivers, USB cable or any other hardware, just a simple application and working brain. The application uses bug 9695860 which is a flaw in the built and the application can easily gain root access by this bug.

How To Increase Sound of Android Mobile [GB+]

Do you hate your Nexus 5 or any other device because it has low sound? I know how it feels, I had Micromax A60 and it had a speaker that cannot be heard until you place your ear or it! Anyway, it's of no use because I don't use that device. I don't have any android device but when I had my device I tried the Viper4Android Audio Effects mod and that was not fake like many mods available on XDA, that really worked and I was shocked, I thought there is no mod which can increase your sound volume but this MOD really worked. Zhuhang@XDA posted the mod on XDA and he said that he is not the actually but, still thanks to him for his work (even if it is of posting!). Also, the MOD is open-source so you can easily make changes based on your device.

The MOD has been downloaded more than thousands of times and none of the user failed in installing the MOD. The MOD is working on most of the devices, only rare devices cannot utilize it. With this MOD, your treble will be too much high at the maximum volume which is cool but there are some chances of bricking your speaker. This is great for people who use their device for listening to songs with speaker. Also with Acid Sound Mod, this becomes superb! Acid Sound MOD+Viper Sound Mod= DJ! but Viper is way better than Acid Sound Mod.
If you are not sure that the MOD increases the volume then install it and turn off and on between your music, you will surely find the difference in this. The MOD works on GingerBread devices as well! Our excluded OS has compatibility to run Viper4Android MOD, also our latest OS i.e, Kit Kat, this is also supported but only on some devices, people reported that in Kit Kat it is not compatible, means most of the devices got it working but some got failed to boot with it.
You are at MXRootRom, so I think you might know that without rooting my most of the guides are reviews and all but you require root in this process. You don't need any CWM or TWRP to flash the MOD but you need root because it changes and adds some files in /etc and /lib folders when it turns on.
XDA is a great place actually, you can find all MODs and useful things for your Android device there only. Let's no more talk about MXRootRom and XDA and move to our main part of the article.

  • It will display a popup to install it or not. Tap Yes.
  • It will install now. Open the application from your application drawer.
  • It will prompt you to = install Audio drivers or not (just confirm it). Soon it will complete the process.
  • Reboot your device!
  • Open the application again after reboot and you will see options like Handset, Loudspeaker. Play with it and enable any settings that you like.
This should work on any GB+ device and I think it's working on your mobile too, if yes then comment here with your mobile phone and don't forge to give your reviews on this MOD.

How To Enable Virtual Navigation control in any Android device [ICS+]

Did you see Nexus devices? They (most of them) have a Navigation bar (soft keys) in the screen itself and the mobile looks nice, premium and neat with it. But not only Nexuses, LGs and other high-ends devices can have this feature but an Android mobile phone which is rooted and running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or above can easily enable Onscreen navigation bar or soft keys. This is a simple task and one does not need any special thing, just a explorer or anything which can pull, push or edit the build.prop which is in /system/ folder. You don't need to be techish, and even a normal-noob person can follow this guide and enable onscreen buttons easily. I like the onscreen button and was jealous that why only Nexuses and other high-end devices have them, why not Indian and other Chinese devices have them? I did a research for some minutes and found how to enable them. After enabling them I was happy and thought of making a guide on my blog, and here I made it. Actually there's just a simple trick behind this and that is, Indian and other Chinese vendors always remove that line from build.prop because of the screen size and don't even disable the line with xxx='false' but they remove the whole line, I don't know why they do so, but that's bad of them.

Requirements

  • A brain
  • Some basic knowledge of editing files
  • Build.prop (every android has it!)
  • Rooted Android device.
  • Android with Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) or above.

How To Enable On Screen Buttons or Soft Navigation Bar on any ICS+ Android mobile phone

By Root Explorer or any other file explorer:
  • Open terminal emulator.
  • Type reboot recovery.
  •  Make a Nandroid backup!
  • Reboot your device.
  • Open your explorer [say Root explorer]
  • Go to /system folder and scroll a bit, you will find build.prop. [Long press on build.prop file and your explorer should ask you how do you interact with this file, if you see text editor, then chose it else use any other explorer or use next guide.
  • Open it in text editor and scroll to last.
  • When you will be at the end, press enter [for next line] and you will be in the last line.
  • Add
    ###Navbar_by_mxrootrom###
  • so that you can easily remove the navbar if you don't remember which line enabled it.
  • Now again press enter for next line and type
    qemu.hw.mainkeys=0.
  • Save the file.
  • Reboot your android device so you can see the effects of it in the next boot.
  • Woh, done!
By ADB (Android Debugging Bridge)

Make sure your ADB works (I mean drivers are installed properly!)

  • Download the compressed ADB from the link in the download sections.
  • Extract it to your any folder, say C:/users/YOUR_USER_NAME/Desktop/ADB_tools
  • Just open the folder where you extracted the downloaded file.
  • Press and hold Shift Key and hit Right click.
  • You will see Open command prompt here option, click on it.
  • Type adb pull /system/build.prop.
  • In that folder, you will see a new file: build.prop.
  • Edit the file and at the end, press enter so you are in a blank line.
  • Type
    ###Navbar_by_mxrootrom### and hit enter.
  • Now, type
    qemu.hw.mainkeys=0.

(You don't need to add those LF in black box because it means that there is another line after that, I use it for development purpose)
  • In command prompt, type
    adb push build.prop /system/
  • Reboot your android phone!
Now you have a device with Navigation bar, cool na? Show of it with your friends and tell them that you have a premium device. Stay tuned for more simple and cool guides like this.
I tried to be much much clear so you can follow the guide easily but if you still find problem in anything then you can ask me here.

How to unlock bootloader and root Motorola Moto G

Did you get Samsung Google Motorola Moto G? That's great because this device is having nice specifications, but what about rooting it? Then it will be ICING ON THE CAKE! Then, you can try hundreds of things that only rooted users can get on Android. I know you might be thinking of the risk, then I must tell you that this is a very simple and a noob-proof guide. Anyone can do this. You  just require some basic things like ADB (to reboot, if you don't know how to reboot it to bootloader/fastboot) and a computer, and fastboot for unlocking the bootloader. After the bootloader is unlocked, we can proceed to our main guide, i.e. How To Root Motorola Moto G. Without rooting you cannot enjoy the Android device. In my home, every device is rooted and that's fun because after that I can run the games flawlessly on some of my old devices like Micromax A87 Ninja 4.0, my other devices are high-end but still, I enjoy some applications like Xposed Module Installer with cool mods like Gravity Box, Xprivacy etc. Not only Xposed, there are many many things which will make your Android device best in your friends!
The device is high-end with some bright specifications like Quad Core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A5 Cortex-A7, GPU: Adreno 305, Snapdragon 400 Qualcomm chipset, 1 GB RAM, 4.5 inch IPS LCD DIsplay and that's all for rupees 11158 (180$). That is cool, but you know that you can try some damn cool ROMs like CyanogenMod 11 (let developers build it first, that's the best ROM, believe me.) etc.
Rooting simply means getting superuser permissions so you can edit the main system files (like System and Data). As I said, rooting is just easy. Just some commands to unlock bootloader and a script and woh! it's rooted. It won't take more than 10 minutes to unlock the bootloader and root it.
The device has already got Android 4.4 Kit Kat update, and that's the best thing about Motorola, not like Samsung! Samsung usually releases update after more than 1-4 months of the release of the Android update which users can already get by Custom ROMs.
I know you are thinking, that the device has excellent specifications then why do I root it?  I know it happens. I also got Samsung Galaxy S3 and I was also in same situation but finally I ended up in rooting it in less than 1 day after buying it and installed Custom ROMs! Anyway, it's your wish to root it or not. I must proceed with this guide:

Things required to root Motorola Moto G:

  • ADB and Fastboot: You can get this easily from the internet but they are of huge size but I have compressed it for you, and that's only for 500 KB! Original size is more than 400 MB actually, so simply download it from here: Click HERE to download my compressed ADB and Fastboot.
  • A computer: You just need it to use ADB and Fastboot.
  • USB Drivers: Click here to download them from the official Motorola website. Just install them and accept all the warnings!
  • USB Debugging: Go to Settings>About Phone and tap on Build Number 7 times so it will enable Developer Options. Click back and there will be a new option Developer options there. Open it, enable it and enable USB Debugging too.
How To Unlock Bootloader of Motorola Moto G to root it:

  • Unzip the ADB and Fastboot which you recently downloaded to your computer.
  • Press and hold Shift and press Right Click on the folder in which you extracted the files. Now click on the Open command window here option.
  • CMD will open soon. Type fastboot oem get_unlock_data and press enter.

  • Open This webpage and enter your email ID and sign in. There enter your Bootloader details which you got from the CMD. ENSURE THAT YOU DON'T ADD ANY SPACE IN THE CHARACTERS.
    It will be like this:
    <bootloader> IHJFDHUDHDSUFHSUFHDSFIGHFIGHI
    <bootloader> HDUFHUFGHFUGHFUGHFUGHFUGHF
    <bootloader HUHGFUGHFUGHFUGHFIGHFIGHFIGH
In the website enter IHJFDHUDHDSUFHSUFHDSFIGHFIGHIHDUFHUFGHFUGHFUGHFUGHFUGHFHUHGFUGHFUGHFUGHFIGHFIGHFIGH. I hope you got that.
  • Click on Can my device be unlocked? and click on I agree on the bottom of it.

  • Now open the email which you registered with Motorola and you will get a code in it.
  • Copy the code and open the command prompt window.
  • Type "fastboot oem unlock YOUR 20 DIGIT CODE HERE" and press enter.
  • Wait few seconds and it will reboot itself.
  • Done.
Now let's see how you can root this device.

How To Root Motorola Moto G after unlocking bootloader:

  • Switch off your device after the reboot.
  • Press and hold Power button + Volume Down buttons simultaneously for some time until the screen glows.
  • Now you will be in the Bootloader mode.
  • Connect it to PC again via USB cable.
  • Download the superbooting tool. (Link provided in the downloads.)
  • Double click on superboot-windows.bat file.

  • It will root your unlocked device soon and will reboot itself.
  • Done.
